Dropp Logistics are currently looking for a number of Class 1 HGV drivers to work for our client based in Burnley
Various start times days and nights available, can have ad hoc bookings to top up your current hours.
About the Role:
We are seeking experienced and reliable Class 1 HGV Drivers to join our growing team in Burnley. You will be responsible for:
- Safely and efficiently delivering goods to various destinations throughout the UK.
- Ensuring vehicle safety and compliance with all relevant regulations.
- Loading and unloading goods as required.
- Completing all necessary paperwork accurately and on time.
- Providing excellent customer service to clients.
- Adhering to all company policies and procedures

Specific Skills
Essential Skills & Experience:
- Valid Class 1 HGV driving licence.
- CPC qualification.
- Digital Tachograph card.
- No more than 6 points on driving licence
- Good verbal and writing communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good time management and organisational skills.
- Experience in multi-drop deliveries (desirable).
- Experience with curtain-sided vehicles (desirable).
Responsible For
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct pre- and post-journey vehicle inspections.
- Plan and execute efficient delivery routes.
- Handle goods with care and attention to detail.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers.
- Maintain accurate driving records.
- Comply with all traffic and road safety regulations.
